Our mission is to support families by providing quality childcare and early childhood programs for Infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartners.

Why Choose Adventure Center?
The task of choosing the best center for your child can be an overwhelming one. Some options would not even be considered as acceptable.  But how do you decide among several seemingly good choices?

One unique feature that we can offer your child at Adventure Center is a consistent and well-trained teaching staff. Adventure Center has been in existence since 1989, however, the director, and some of the staff (who are still with us) moved from a smaller center that had been in operation for 15 years.  Our full time staff average 17+ years of experience with us.  In the early childhood/child care profession that is quite unique.  We are fortunate to have such a high caliber and experienced teaching staff.

Additionally, all of our staff attend annual training sessions and conferences.  All full and part time staff receive CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen training that is updated regularly.

What is a high quality early childhood program?

A high quality early childhood program provides a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children.  In a high quality program you will see:
  • Frequent, positive, warm interactions among teachers and children
  • Planned learning activities appropriate to children's age and development, such as block building, painting, reading stories, dress up, and active outdoor play.
  • Specially trained teachers and directors

  • Many varied age-appropriate materials
  • Respect for cultural diversity
  • A healthy and safe environment for adults and children
  • Inclusive environments
